SPE Group opened its doors in 2001 as a three-person operation in Southeastern Michigan. Today the company has grown to seven locations in multiple states, expanded our services, and employing over 400 administrative and field resources yearly.
In 2026, SPE continued its strategic growth with the acquisition of Alpha Omega Safety Solutions (AOSS), a leading provider of workforce development and safety training services, further strengthening SPE’s commitment to safety, employee development, and operational excellence.
SPE is a union contractor affiliated with the IBEW — the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers — with credentialed journeyman lineworkers, equipment operators, field leadership, and support personnel.
Alpha Omega Safety Solutions is a SPE Group company, leading workforce development and safety training with Jackson College and Lansing Community College.
